Our Mission

“It all comes down to saving water” Our job is for people, and our mission is about people. The wonderful people who work for and with us are our most crucial resource to accomplish our purpose.

We value diversity in nature and among the individuals, partners, and communities we collaborate with. We are united by one mission, one brand, and one shared set of values across the different cultures and individuals who make up the Paani Ki Bund Foundation:

COURAGE

Our team shows courage through our actions, working for change where needed and inspiring individuals and institutions to address the most serious threats to nature and the future of the world we call home.

INTEGRITY

We uphold the standards we expect others to maintain. We behave with honesty, transparency, and responsibility, and we rely on facts and research to guide us and ensure that we learn and grow.

RESPECT

We respect the opinions and knowledge of the people and communities we serve, and we seek to protect their rights to a sustainable future.

COLLABORATION

We use the power of collective action and invention to make a difference at the scale of the problems we face.

Paani Ki Bund believes the most important water conservation device is you. We’re not here to tell you how to conserve water; instead, we’re here to show you how. Paani Ki Bund reminds desert inhabitants in rural Rajasthan how simple it is to conserve water. Changing a few easy habits will significantly reduce water use, and adopting healthy habits now will nurture our state for future generations.
